The sixth annual Victorian Biodiversity Conference was originally planned to take place in-person at the La Trobe University Bundoora campus. Unfortunately, due to the escalating number of COVID-19 cases and the recent reintroduction of density limits for indoor venues, VicBioCon22 will now be an online event.
All short presentations will be pre-recorded and live streamed during the conference, with plenaries and panel discussions delivered live over Zoom. We will be using the same virtual conference platform as 2021, which will be hosted by SCOOCS.
Workshops will continue as planned, with tickets available to purchase here. In addition, we are planning a free online networking event for the evening of Thursday 3rd February, and an in-person outdoor function on Friday 4th February (tickets available here).
Thank you for your understanding, patience and continued support of the Victorian Biodiversity Conference 2022.
We hope to see you online very soon. Until then, stay safe :)
